The Childcare Directory Ltd.
 The Childcare Directory was set up in December 2000 by Jamie Lawlor the former owner of SILVERSTREAM CRÈCHE & MONTESSORI. Silverstream was one of the largest crèches in North Wicklow with some 50 children.
With experience gained in the childcare industry a need was seen to have a "one stop shop" where childcare providers, parents, suppliers and childcare workers could all gain from having one location to seek information.
The vision of the Childcare Directory is to be the known portal for all aspects of childcare in Ireland.
At the Childcare Directory parents can source information on childcare providers by region, throughout Ireland. Crèche owners are able to advertise for staff and access information on suppliers and their products. Childcare workers may look for vacancies or courses available to further their studies.
