Malcomson Law specialist law firm has been a leader in specialised litigation in the health law area. We are leading the present Haemophilia Tribunal, representing the Irish Haemophilia Society and Haemophilia suffers in Ireland. We have been to the fore in the establishment of the compensation schemes for Hepatitis C sufferers, including the only case on Hepatitis C contamination that went to full hearing. We have taken headline cases involving firearm induced deafness in army personnel, cerebral palsy in children, asbestos induced disease, sick building syndrome and wide areas of medical malpractice.
We have led cases in public law against the Irish Government by way of judicial review on unfair treatment in the armed forces, unequal treatment for women, sexual abuse of persons in State Institutions and environmental law. We practice widely in the area of personal injury*, commercial law and dispute resolution. We deal with Wills and Probate, Inheritance tax and other tax headings.
